"Mad about Plaid" Quilt Class
ages 16+
Thursdays, August 1 & 8 2024 7-9 PM
So you're ready to make a quilt, but not sure how to tackle all those squares? In this class I will help you create a stunning quilt top using a technique that makes those squares manageable and fun. Beginners who are gaining confidence in rotary cutting and strip piecing are welcome (this is a perfect follow up class for my Basics class). You'll have a quilt top finished and ready to be quilted by the end of this course.
Cost for all two sessions is $60.

"A Banner Day" Celebration Banner Class
ages 16+
Saturday, August 10, 2024 9AM-3PM
Join me for a one day event. We will make an adorable celebration banner. You choose your fabrics and what occasion you'd like to celebrate. I will guide you through, start to finish. We will take a lunch break between noon and 1. By that night, you will have a unique decor piece that can be used again and again. Come and make this fun addition to your family traditions. Class size is limited to 4. Bring your own machine or use one of mine.
Cost is $40 and includes the pattern.

Fall 2024 Basics of Quilting Class
ages 16+
Mondays, Sept 9, 16, 23, 30 and Oct 7 from 9AM-12 PM
Come and learn the basics of quilting while completing this table runner, which is a small version of this quilt. In this fun and easy class beginners and those with some experience will learn accurate cutting, piecing, border and binding techniques. I will professionally longarm quilt your quilt (at no additional cost to you, a $50 value) between weeks 4 and 5 so you can be ready to learn binding techniques in week 5.
Classes will be held in 5 sessions; Monday mornings in Sept 2024 and Oct 7 in my basement studio. Being able to navigate stairs independently is a must.
Class is currently limited to 4 students and offered at a highly discounted cost to hold your spot in class while I polish my curriculum.
Cost for all 5 sessions is $100.
Bring your own (working, clean and oiled) sewing machine or sign up to use one of my studio machines. Using your own machine is the best way to become comfortable with how your machine works. You will get the most accurate and predictable results if you use the same machine in class and at home.
Each session builds upon the class prior, so attendance is important. By the end of all 5 sessions, you will have a FINISHED table runner (this may require some work outside of class time to keep pace). But don't stress, if you fall behind, no worries. Life happens. Please come to class no matter your project status to learn the NEXT step you'll take. I don't offer makeup lessons. I also don't provide refunds once the course has started due to limited class space.

Pretty Pouches Class
ages 16+

Come and sew a quick and cute little zipper pouch. Beginners with a basic sewing knowledge can come and make this zipper pouch from start to finish. You choose the fabrics and make it uniquely yours.
